The slag obtained during the production of steel contains metallic components in varying proportions. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals are removed from the secondary raw materials using various separation processes in different processing steps. The scrap and regenerated iron obtained in this way are then marketed and, in so doing, reintroduced to the production cycle.
